Morningside

We have officially closed the doors on Morningside Dr.

As we walked the floors one last time at 4677, we couldn’t help but let the tears flow.

The memories.

The love.

The milestones.

So much happened under one roof.

We shared one last meal together, now as a family of three, on the floor as we reminisced.

Dina’s pizza and wings, it was always our go-to, paired with a refreshing Leinenkugel Summer Shandy. This was a Friday night tradition for many years.

We left a bottle of wine and a card for the new owners hoping they understand just how lucky they are to share in the legacy of those four walls.

Congratulations on this next chapter of your lives! When my husband bought this house, we were fresh out of college and just beginning our young adult lives. (We’re still young at heart 😉)

In this house we fell in love, became engaged, got married and brought home our first baby.

What is so special about this house that you’ve bought is that the couple that we bought the house from had the exact same story.

Young adults, newlyweds, parents.

This house holds so much love and so many memories that will never be forgotten.

It may not be the biggest or best house ever built but it built love and memories that were best for us.

We hope you both enjoy this house, neighborhood, and city just as much as we did.

Ps. Dave and Rudy next door are great! Dave likes to chat your ear off but just play with Rudy, it’ll make the time go by faster. Oh! On the other side are Carol and Dave. Dave drinks a lot but he’s retired so I think that’s okay, right? LOL And Carol is nosey but she means well. 😜 We love them both and so will you.

Best of luck,

Chad & Michele

Go Tribe!

PPS. Best pizza delivery, Dina’s. Get the Buffalo Ranch wings, you won’t be disappointed. ❤”

This picture of Ev was taken in the room we had spent countless hours in trying to make it perfect for her when she came home.

For the first few weeks, daddy slept on that floor with all four fur babies while mommy slept in the recliner near the window holding our precious newborn for hours on end.

Memories we’ll never forget.❤
